The Sunday Post : Get your bookish news – Day tripping

April 28, 2019 meme, The Sunday Post 20

Welcome to The Sunday Post, a weekly meme hosted by Kim the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.  Grab a cuppa and let me bend your ear (eyes?) for a few minutes with all my bookish news.   This week I was off Day tripping, one of favourite things to do .

Between My Sundays – what happened this week

Day tripping

Last weekend, we got to head off on a lovely day trip, and I took the opportunity to read outdoors too.  We took a route over of the mountains, to a beach about an hours drive from us.  Being a tourist at home is so much fun, and then you get to come home and sleep in your own comfy bed.  Win, win!

Storm Hannah:

Storm Hannah hit here on Fri night/Sat morning. To be honest, it wasn’t bad where I live, but it was lovely excuse to stay home reading!

Blogger Commenting Problems – Thank you!

Thanks for all the advise on my issue of commenting on blogger blogs from my MacBook.  I signed out of google, cleared my cache, and signed back in.  And it works…for a while…I keep having to redo it.  Anyway, at least I know what to do now.

What I’m Watching:

GOT!  And I’m so nervous about who will still be alive by tomorrow morning!  I’ll prepared for carnage!  It’s on at 2am, so I’ll have to wait till Mon night to find out.

It is fun being a tourist where you live, we do that every summer here in New England. I am glad that Storm Hannah was not too bad in your area. Have a great week and enjoy GOT!

Being a tourist at home is very eye opening, and you discover places that you never even knew about. Doing it in New England sounds fab!

  2. Flora

The day trip sounded blissful and I’m glad you’re safe from Storm Hannah. I have to say your GoT tealights made me chuckle 😉

  3. Tina @ As Told By Tina

Your day trip sounds like a lot of fun! I think I’m going to have to try and do something like that around my city to see if I can discover something new. I’m also glad the storm wasn’t too bad for you. I hope you have a wonderful week!

It’s funny when you start looking at your own home area like a tourist, you discover all kinds of fun things to do.

I was having the same problems with commenting on blogger blogs, including my own. I went to apple and they helped me. Any time you start to have the same problem, just go toFile and then New Private Window. That has fixed my problem. It happened one more time and then I did it again and it fixed it! What a beautiful setting for reading! I’m glad Storm Hannah didn’t hit too hard. Happy Reading!

Ahhh thank you so much Lindy! I’ll go do that know and hopefully I’ll be sorted for once and for all. Much appreciated!

    • trish

I hadn’t realised it was widespread, but thankfully I’m sorted now. Thanks to Lindy in the comment above you!

    • trish

I’m so relieved now that I’ve watched it, but I was in bits while watching it! Hope you a lovely week too Stephanie and thank you for all the lovely comments.
