Clean Sweep ARC 2017 – How I rid myself of book guilt! #cleansweeparc

May 1, 2017 Blogging, Bookish Fun 15

Clean Sweep ARC 2017 hosted by The Caffeinated Book Reviewer begins today.  A challenge to encourage you to book-blogger up and crack through some neglected advanced reader copy books.  With perfect timing, as I have been considering and blushing about the number of unintentionally shunned ARCs that slipped through the cracks on me.  So I vow so read and review as many of these as I can possible manage.

My Goals for Clean Sweep ARC 2017

  • Read some damn ARCs.  Not that I’m angry at the lovely ARCs, I’m angry at me for neglecting them!
  • Review some damn ARCs.
  • Repeat!
  • Remind myself how lucky I am to get these lovely books and enjoy them
  • Bin the guilt.  Sometimes life happens, and reading takes a back seat.

So you’ve actually made a reading list again? 🙂 how many do you have, are these all of them? I still have like 50is waiting for me as well, most are last year’s! I’ve already joined an ARC challenge, but I might still join this one 🙂
By the way, One In A Million boy features a character from my country (Lithuania) 🙂

This is more a list of shame, and will hopefully get me excited again about reading these books. I was over the moon the day I got them, but somehow they just never got read. This is more or less all mine I think. I don’t read that many ARCs, as I love my library and don’t feel as pressurised reading from there. Hope you make great progress with your challenge. And that’s for letting me know that, I did spot earlier that you were from Lithuania, so I’ll look forward to meeting that character.

I have the Whole Thing Together to get to as well. Hope we both enjoy it good. My ARC pile is so bad – there were too many in April and May. I feel guilty but it is what it is and I will get through them -eventually! Good luck!!

I haven’t been accepting many ARCs (or scouting them out on NG!) lately so it’s not too bad. I’m looking forward to finally read some of the ones I do have though. Enjoy your sweeping!

Yay! I deffo need a light-hearted, feel-good read, so I must read that one soon. I know Aven will deliver 🙂

I don’t take on many ARCs anymore so my list isn’t too bad. I’ll be glad to finally get to read some of these though. Good luck with your challenge and I hope you enjoy the books. And I hear you on the guilt, but then again this isn’t a job and we just do what we can!

Never too late to join! It feels so good to clear some of those older ARCs, I think we all have them hiding in our Kindles!
