#ArmchairBEA – Giveaway! $10 Amazon Giftcard

May 30, 2015 Book Event, Giveaway 26

Aw, the Armchair BEA party is nearly over but there is time for a giveaway before I have to sign out for this year.

Armchair BEA

I’m giving one person the chance to snag a $10 Amazon Giftcard but there is never any such thing as a free book around here and I’m looking for some tips from you!  Armchair BEA is a huge learning opportunity as far as I’m concerned and I love that we can all help each other to grow and develop (as well as push a few books, of course!).  So I want you to tell me your favourite blogging tip that you picked up over the course of it.

Good luck!

My favorite tip was on using Twitter lists to help keep up with all the bookish tweets on your feed!

Thanks for the giveaway! I didn’t so much pick up a new blogging tip (I’ve been going for 5 years now) but I didn’t realize that there are many more people that struggle to write reviews (as in, not feeling like doing it). That’s good to know!

I’ve learned lots of wonderful things during ABEA about blogging. My favorite tip was how to keep up better with Twitter by using lists. I hope to try that today.

I’ve always been a little wary of commenting on my favorite blog’s posts, but when I read you blogging tip “If you are new to leaving comments, know that we all felt awkward in the early days leaving them. It gets easier!” I decided to start becoming more involved! Thank you!

I don’t use twitter so I can’t use that handy tip that everyone seems to be using. My fave tip though is to make a small group of online book friends that you enjoy reading and stick with them, visit, comment in a considerate, worthwhile way and learn their likes and dislikes. Far better than following/being followed by a huge group of strangers. Book blogging = connecting.
    Thanks, Trish.

I’ve read some great tips how to write reviews better and faster, which was really useful.
    Thank you for the giveaway!

Thanks for the giveaway! I think making blogging friends is my favorite tip. 😉

People have mentioned two or three articles that I’ll need to go check out now – the Twitter lists being one, getting more involved and blogging more regularly are things I know I should do but haven’t made the time for. I also missed sign-ups for ABEA this year because I’ve been too busy with other things in life. I’ll also have to look up the tips for writing reviews easier and quicker as well as look into the Google Keep info- I already use One Note which may be Microsofts version of a similar software.

I liked what you said about memes not being useless filler. I participate in a few and I enjoy them. I hope my readers do as well. 🙂 I also appreciate your tip on creating lists on Twitter.

I’ve enjoyed your Armchair posts, Trish! I hope you had a lot of fun as well!
