Randomness:
Divergent came out here on Friday so after nearly exploding from anticipation, I finally got to see it. And I thought it was good, not amazing but good. Towards the end I was getting restless as it felt a bit too long. I felt Tris and Four were really well portrayed and I loved the training scenes and the zip wire scene. And I wasn’t a fan when I heard Theo James was playing Four but I’m a fan now, I thought he was great. Like any adaptation bits got left out so it wasn’t as good as the book. But that is to be expected!

Second Chance Sunday – What caught my eye. Why not go Sunday visiting?!
Sorry, no links this week. Thanks to a mixture of a hectic week at work, some fun family events and a weekend away; there has been zero time for blog visiting. Next week I’ll be better, promise!

Books I have received to review:

Thanks to Lola’s Blog Tours for my copy of Face Time; a long distance, digital romance, sounds fun!
Thanks to Bookbridgr and Headline Review for Things We Never Say. Sheila O’Flanagan is an Irish author whose books I just eat up.
Thanks to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for my copy of My not so super sweet life. I’m a big fan of this YA time travel series and can’t wait to read this one.

Books I have bought:
I was half thinking of a book ban for April but then this happened. Oh well I’ve started now so I might as well postpone the ban till May!

********************************************************************************************************************************** Between the Lines is now on facebook sharing details of kindle freebies and great giveaways as well as other random bits and pieces. So if you use FB, please like my page if you like!
So that’s my week wrapped up. Happy Reading to all.
Angie
I know the feeling about having a busy week and not finding other blog’s posts to link up. In fact this week I was scrambling to find links myself. I looked around tonight and then just settled on a couple. Good luck on your book ban in May!!

Glad you enjoyed the show even if it wasn’t perfect! I don’t go too often to see adaptations (or really movies in general) I have a hard time sitting still that long. I can totally sit still that long when reading but a movie? Not a chance. lol

I haven’t seen the Divergent movie yet but I’ve also heard that Theo James was the star of the movie. 🙂 I really want to go see it, but none of my friends aren’t that interested in – boring! Happy reading and have a great Sunday!

The Girl of Fire and Thorns!! I’ve heard so many amazing things about that book (from Leanne). I’m still a bit hesitant though (the idea of starting yet another series doesn’t sound too appealing to me at the moment), so I’ll be looking forward to your thoughts on it 🙂

I saw Divergent too (have not read the books) and liked it. The training scenes were probably my favorite part, I enjoyed seeing her assimilate into Dauntless. Makes me more likely to read the books, to get the whole story.
I’ve been curious about Philippa Gregory, and I need to get to Dark Triumph too.
