Nine Plots Atwisting

Eight Maids Kick-Assing

Seven Dystopias Awaiting

Six Sizzling New Adults

Five Christmas Books

Four Contemporaries

Three Time Travels

Two Chick Lits

****************************************************************************************************

Eleven covers for Adoring

The Book Thief The Art of Letting Go A Corner of White a matter of fate Daughter of Smoke & Bone Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea Not a Drop to Drink Mad About The Boy jane eyre All In coco

I’m not going to talk about these I’m going to let the covers do the talking for me!  I picked these because either the cover just screamed read me or else because after reading the cover captured the book perfectly.

Bookish Chat : I hate books that have covers that have nothing to do with the story.  Or worse have the mc on the front who is different to the description in the book.  Drives me crazy!  I also prefer books without real people on the front.  What do you dislike in book covers?

I don’t own Jane Eyre with that cover YET! I am determined to track it down 🙂
      Damn those misleading covers!

The only thing I dislike about ebooks is that I don’t get to admire the cover for as long as with a physical book. Showcasing them on the blog during reviews or on the Sunday post is another way of appreciating them though.

That’s my cover of Jane Eyre! I can even remember buying it because it was when Borders was going out of business (so sad, but oh, all the books I bought!). And I buy the Daughter of Smoke and Bones books on audio because I love the narrator so much, but that cover is awesome! Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea will be making an appearance on my blog tomorrow (so love that book!). A Corner of White is on my tbr shelf, and it’s so freaking lovely! Lastly, and sadly, although I own The Book Thief, it is not that gorgeous cover, so now I’m going to go wail at the moon (well, at least in the direction of where I think the moon is since it’s 8am here) about the unfairness of life in general and the fact that I can’t afford all the books in specific. 😉

Haha, book worms will never be able to afford the books we want because we want ALL the books and ALL the covers! I covet that Jane Eyre cover so much, I’m on a mission to find it 🙂 A Corner of White is such a strange, quirky book; I loved it because I’m good with crazy! And yay Between the Devil and Deep Blue Sea, so glad you loved it as I won a copy recently and have it to read. A fab hardback copy version, it made me dance with happiness!

I’m with you, I love the ‘A Matter of’ covers and much prefer these ones to the original ones. All In is such a fun, summer cover and a perfect representation of the book. I haven’t read BTDATDBS yet but it looks fab and I was lucky enough to win a hardback copy and it’s soooo awesome looking 🙂

I love that cover too. One of my favourite things to do is check all the cover versions for the same book, the variety is amazing.
