Thanks to Gillian O’Rourke who sent me The Reluctant Prophet and to Karli Perrin for sending me The Gift.  They look so different but I’m excited about both of them.

Books I have bought

And Then There Were None Mad About The Boy

My husband surprised me with the new Bridget Jones book but I may have dropped a hint or fifty in his direction.  And I bought And Then There Were None for my Dust off your Classics challenge.  I thought it would be tame but it was AMAZING!  Why had I never read an Agatha Christie before now?!

I’ve never read any Agatha Christie because in my mind it’d be a lot like other classic books I’ve tried and failed to finish (boring? Dry? Both?) but I must admit you now have me curious!

I hope you enjoy your new books 🙂 I’m interested to hear your thoughts on the new Bridget Jones novel, I can’t decide if I want to read it yet.

My AC review is up today, it shocked me! I was expecting boring but I was riveted to it, the more I got in to it, the better it got. The first two chapters are slow but once the murders start, it was WOW!
Bridget Jones is ok, I’m finding it hard that she is 51!

I need to stock up on more AC books now that I know how good they are. And that post is spoiler free but you may want to avoid the comments!

I adored And Then There Were None, I’m still thinking about it and admiring the way AC put it all together.
And LOL at your hint dropping too :O

O_o the reluctant prophet looks really good! Curious to read your review on that.
And I see you got another Agatha Christie book — I suspect your post tomorrow will be about how much you love her now! Haha that’s awesome 🙂
    Enjoy and happy Reading!

The Reluctant Prophet is little outside my normal reading zone but the author is living in Ireland so I decided to give it a shot. I read the first few pages and I liked what I saw 🙂

I loved the first two Bridget Jones books and the movies. I’m not convinced about this one yet! I started last night but am finding it hard to wrap my head around the stage in life that Bridget is at now :O

Well if all AC book’s are as good as And Then There Were None then I can’t recommend them enough. I’ll be trying another one very, very soon. I’m not sure about Bridget Jones yet, starting last night but finding it hard to wrap my head around her new stage in life!

I can highly recommend And Then There Were None, I’m shocked at just how good it was. I can’t wait to try more! Have a great week Christy 🙂
