The Bloggy Awards 13 – Rallying My Troops!
Sunday was a pretty surreal day for me. I felt a little bit like myself and my blog had fallen down a rabbit hole as everything just kept getting curiouser and curiouser!
First off I had over 2,000 views of a review I had written for the The Cuckoo’s Calling which I had read and reviewed before we were all aware that JK Rowling was the author. Believe me, they are not normal daily stats for any of my posts!
And then Sunday evening, I was shocked and ecstatic to be tweeted by Dani @ What Danielle Did Next
. congratulating me for my nomination for the The Bloggy Awards 13
. My actual response was ‘Wait, What?’. A quick twitter search later and I was enlightened to the fact that Between the Lines was nominated in the Best Breakout Blog category.
I have no clue who nominated me so a huge thanks to whomever(s) it was, if you feel like owning up to who you are, do please. And I’m not just being fake or modest but with some many great blogs around, I don’t really know why I’m there. That didn’t stop me doing a victory dance around the sitting room and then high fiving everyone from my husband to my cat as I was over the moon just to be nominated. And I won’t lie; I had a moment of doubt first and double clicked on the link to make sure it was my Between the Lines and not another blog with the same name.
I don’t really know what exactly happens next but watch this space. I’ll let you know where and when voting takes place, in case of you want to vote for me and hopefully some of you will! All votes greatly appreciated J
Congrats to some of my other friends who were also nominated. In particular to Asti @ A Bookish Heart
with whom I’m going to head to head with. It will be daggers at dawn, not! And Amy Bookworm @ Spreading UK YA
who is nominated for Twitter Fiend which is fitting as that is exactly what she is
