Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by one of my favourite blogs – http://brokeandbookish.blogspot.ie – if you are not reading this blog, then you should be!
True : An emotional NA with characters that were authentic, true to life and got under my skin
After Forever Ends : An indie book that I adored. It made me howl with laughter and later with tears and then with laughter again
Golden : A powerful, intense and beautiful book about love and hope that has inspired me to examine my own life and to make some changes
Gone Girl : The only book where I hated every character but still loved the book.
Hopeless : The very first NA I read. It took my breath away, I was not prepared for the emotional, intense journey that I had to go on.
The Curious Incident of the Dog at Nighttime – A reread to see if this book was as good as I remembered. The answer? Yes!
Cinder : A Chinese Cinderella who is a mechanic and a cyborg in a dystopia setting. Could this really compute into an enjoyable read? Yes! It could and it does.
Daughter of Smoke and Bone : So original, so beautifully written and with such unique characters. This is still my favourite read so far this year.
Slammed: When I read my first slam poem, I was shaking with emotion and adrenaline. And I loved the twists, they slammed me right in the gut.
Sky Song : Another Indie that pleasantly surprised me. Especially as it is a sci fi/fantasy mix which is a little outside my comfort zone. I read it a few weeks ago and I need to read book 2 soon as I still thinking about the characters
Bookish Chat : So see anything there you love? What is your favourite so far this year? And if you have done a TTT just leave a link and I’ll come check your list out.
